How It Works…
Aimed at homeowners/occupiers and tenants who are unable to afford the costs of efficiency improvements to their homes.
The Aim
To help a wide section of society gain from/enjoy efficiency improvements, and help more people cut carbon emissions.
In general homeowners/occupiers and tenants who are in receipt of benefits/state pension etc. and meet the qualifying criteria (see below) can apply.
The work is therefore completed without you needing to make any payments whatsoever.
Income limit if you only claim Child Benefit
Energy Performance Rules
As well as claiming one of the qualifying benefits listed, your home must have an EPC rating of D,E,F OR G.
If your property has a rating of A-C you do not qualify.
